Easter Sunday

Our usual Sunday routine involves me waking up at 830 and thinking I can get 3 girls (moi included) dressed and out the door in 45 min. 6 months into this chaotic Sunday morning madness and I have yet to take the hint. What can I say, I love my extra 30 min of snoozing. This Easter Sunday was no different despite me waking up 30 min earlier and having an extra hand with the girls because not only could I just throw anything on and go sans makeup but the girls also needed to be on their Easter A-game too.

It worked out and we were only 5 min late to the service. It was lovely and packed but trinity always has a great low key family celebration with an Easter egg hunt in the cemetery (I somehow block that out) with a live band and donuts and baskets and gifts for the kids.

We later attended Easter brunch at the Harvard club. Complete with bunny photo opp and live entertainment for the kids (max the magician) It was great and relaxing and the spread was good (but nothing compared to the annual dinner we attended a month ago!) and totally catered to the families which might turn this into a family tradition.  We ended the day with dinner at  "uncle X's"  with some jamaican food (hello) and watching Winter entertain us with her  balance beam routine.  Happy Easter!
