Let's take it to the Gingerbread House!

I can't believe we're wrapping up 2021 still in a pandemic but we had so much fun last year catching up with our friends and fam across the country doing this activity (and we got some shine on nymag.com a few weeks ago!) that we (ok, I - mom) decided last minute to keep this tradition going. So once again, It's gingerbread house decorating party time!

We kept it late due to the girls having a track practice and it made it somewhat of a reasonable time for our West coast friends and fam to join us. Because I originally planned to do this in person, I had stocked up on gingerbread kits right after Thanksgiving. But due to COVID coming up again, I dropped off kits to our NYC friends (which worked out b/c they were out of stock everywhere!). On the call, we started with introductions then got to decorating, before we ended with some show-and-tell.
