It's my favorite month of the summer as NYC shows off all it's beauty during this really great event. Summer streets happens on the first 3 Saturdays of August where park ave is closed off to motor vechicle traffic from 72nd st down to the brooklyn bridge and open only to pedestrians. It's beautiful way to see the city and there are tons of events, giveaways, sights, and activities along the route.
Crunch has been a sponsor from the first and I've participated every year since the beginning - from teaching classes to demo stations to all around happy cheerleader (I'm kangoo'ing it this year). Often we get to do cool PR events, such as the case today, where we filmed a Good Morning America segment with Crunch's Reign Hudson who is the founder of an intensely fun workout called Tabura, a mashup of african dance and kickboxing (it's very fun - believe me! you will sweat buckets!) Anyhow, sam champion was there leading the segment so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a photo of Sam with me and my good friend, Shola.
